 When the budget framework passed – with help from the excited minister and the black bag-clutching leader of a party that once swore off the ANC – they danced, not protested. Now, with the DA, EFF and MKP basking in the glory of killing the abominable increase, the ANC is fumbling for credit it does not deserve. Â
 When it mattered most, they unanimously failed the people, choosing party survival over public interest. No amount of press conferences can hide the truth: the ANC was caught napping while others fought.Â
