Just as Thulas Nxesi’s special adviser Lumko Mtimde ran away with the moegoe honours, 702’s Bongani Bingwa forcefully snatched the coveted title. It’s easy to forgive Mtimde.
Politics is commonplace for rented apparatchiks who hold tin-pot idols above scrutiny. But in comes Bingwa, who was somehow outraged this week by Mthunzi Mdwaba’s allegations of bribery of R500-million against Nxesi and two other ministers.
To top all the stupidity, he then asks why Mdwaba is not heading to court to review and set aside the R5-billion tender. In which dreamland has that ever happened? Somebody, please lend this twanging idiot a brain.
