Uncle Waffles finally drops her own music

Lungelihle Zwane, better known as the tenacious Uncle Waffles, is proving she is more than just a pretty face whose claim to fame is dancing to Young Stunna’s hit song Adiwele.

Uncle Waffles dropped her first single titled Tanzania from her upcoming EP Red Dragon, where she features amapiano vocalist Sino Msolo, Real Boibizza, and Tony Duardo.

After a video of her dancing to Adiwele went viral in 2021, she faced some backlash from social media. Trolls dragged the 21-year-old for a number of things including when she performed wearing a G-string, and when she was accused of lies for claiming the Adiwele song to be hers.

The criticism has done anything but derail her from chasing after her goals. The fast-rising Uncle Waffles collaborated with DJ Ace last year for the release of a single titled G-Sting.

Taking to social media, Uncle Waffles shared the exciting news of her new single and the track list to her upcoming EP.

“This journey has continually proven to be a blessing, now we move onto a new part of the journey,” she wrote.

Uncle Waffles is currently on an international tour and is having the time of her life despite attracting more backlash for her performance in the UK.
