Deputy President David Mabuza to go on leave for medical consult in Russia

Johannesburg – The Deputy President of South Africa, David Mabuza, has requested from the president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, to go on a few days of leave.

This was announced by the Presidency of South Africa on Saturday evening.

“During this time, the Deputy President will undertake a visit to the Russian Federation for a scheduled medical consultation. This consultation is a follow-up to previous medical consultations that the Deputy President received from the Russian Federation,” the presidency said in a statement.

“The Deputy President will continue with the responsibilities that have been entrusted to him upon the end of the leave period,” the statement further continued.
