Johannesburg – So, we all know Shwashwi likes things, but not like Lindani Ndwandwa, who is a stylist, businessman, designer, and television presenter. Wow!
Does he love things and do they love him?
We arrived late for his birthday at Metropolis on Park and found ourselves in a restaurant filled with designers, ladies who lunch for a living, reality stars, musicians and one lady I’m sure is a lady of the night – oh, that was me.
The ladies were told to wear pastel while the gents beige, and boy did everyone who stuck to the theme make us miss summer.
Actress Zikhona Sodlaka is looking so sophisticated and happy after childbirth.
She looked smashing in black even though it was not the correct dress code, we were just overjoyed for her as she was in a great mood instead of the rather sulky and moody Zikhona of the past.
Congratulations on the baby, all your new gigs and remain happy as it suits you.
The party was hosted by young and yummy Chef Zondo, but before the delightful things, let’s start with the dramatic prayers that included: “God, be with those who think they are celebrities.” We were shocked, but said nothing as the room was packed with stars and a weird little performer who would not stop singing, “I love you”.
It was an experience, then there was a Q&A with Lindani, which was so self-indulgent it should be compulsory.
The prayer was spicy so everything else was clearly going to be very interesting.
Spotted a lovely reality star Brinnett e Seopela and her bestie Gugu enjoying a plate of food together like sisters while their blonde friend,
, seemed to have the time of her life.
This hottie with ample cleavage is American and it turns out she had been living with Seopela during Covid and was now back in South Africa from Florida for good.
Great to see women supporting each other and we loved Seopela’s suit made by Sihle Masango.
We wanted to ask why her boobs were also hanging out, but figured it was a look.
On reality stars, we do hope Real Housewives of Johannesburg star, Tarina Patel, returns whatever money her husband Iqbal Sharma allegedly benefitted from his business ties with the Guptas.

Do you remember her showing us elephants on Top Billing, when not looking like she works for Fendi?
Brian Temba looked dapper in a corner, but we left him chatting to Tshidi Mholo and assumed they were talking music or why Brian is not community property, the man is so obsessed with his wife it is commendable.
Besides being self-indulgent and generous, Lindani also made sure that the guests left with gifts too, which was very unexpected.
We did notice LootLove and Nina Hastie’s names but since they did not pitch, decided to remind them not to RSVP if they have lives. We don’t.
Thanks Lindani, and next year please ask Jessica Mbangeni to usher you in and get some circus performers as you deserve them too.
Great function and it was interesting to find out that Mholo has a boyfriend.
That is what she claimed when she took the products meant for male guests.
Oh, and yes she too was not dressed in pastel, I love our doyens.
