Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have tipped that they will be exploring options to bring in new additions after announcing six new signings ahead of the new season on Monday.
Chiefs officially confirmed the signing of Botswana captain Thatayaone Ditlhokwe (SuperSport United), defender Given Msimango (TS Galaxy), midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane (Cape Town City), Pule Mmodi (Golden Arrows), striker Ranga Chivaviro (Marumo Gallants) and Venezuelan international Edson Castillo from Monagas SC in the Venezuelan Primera Division.

Amakhosi tied the South American on a two-year deal with an option for a further one year. Castillo, 29, is expected to arrive in South Africa this week.
With the transfer window officially opened and pre-season training in full swing, the Glamour Boys will look to hit the ground running under the tutelage of newly appointed coach Molefi Ntseki, who has since taken over the reins from Arthur Zwane with immediate effect.
As part of the player announcement statement, Chiefs said the club has not closed the door to bring in additional players to bolster the squad.
“The club is exploring the potential for a few more player acquisitions before the start of the season, and announcements will be made once any deals have been concluded,” read part of the statement.
