Judith Sephuma promises jazz lovers a great performance

The Gauteng Soul and Jazz Concert, one of the biggest soul and jazz events on the entertainment calendar, is back by popular demand.

The event is a concept that was conceived in 2022 and has become a regular feature on the annual entertainment events calendar.

Jazz lovers and fans crying for more

Concert organiser Thabiso “Skeelo” Ramogashwa  said there has been an outcry from the fans of the Gauteng Soul and Jazz Concert.

“The people told us on social media who they wanted to see on stage and we listened. I am fortunate to have a good relationship with all the featured artists. And when I approached them, they were more than happy to be part of this exciting line-up. I look forward to another bigger and better Gauteng Soul and Jazz Concert,” said Ramogashwa.

Multi-award-winning jazz and afro-pop singer Judith Sephuma was part of the first ever Gauteng Soul and Jazz Concert. Sephuma said when the organisers proposed for her to be part of the line-up for this year’s event, she was so excited.

Promise fans a good time

“I always have fun at these Gauteng Soul and Jazz concerts, the audience is amazing. Once again, I’m looking forward to a beautiful show, and I promise my fans a very good time. I will sing all their favourites and might throw in one or two surprises. People must get in their dancing shoes and expect to have lots of fun,” said Sephuma.

Award-winning Afro pop sensation Nathi Mankayi said he is excited to be performing amongst many great artists.

Nathi to perform music from new album

“I look forward to us creating magic on that stage. It will be more exciting for me to perform music from my new album, I can’t wait,” added Mankayi.

The concert will take place at Sunbet Arena Time Square in Pretoria on June 29 2024. The line-up features Judith Sephuma, Jimmy Dludlu, Zonke, Nathi, Vusi Nova, Lloyiso and the Jaziel Brothers.
