Carl Niehaus has just been arrested. Wait for them to start saying "a freedom fighter was arrested", but we saw him breaking the law on TV.

We must demand @SAPoliceService to give us the charge on Carl Niehaus ASAP. For the simple reason – to avoid targeted exceptional arrests which we often see during protests. I hold no brief for Carl but state institutions must be held to account.

There is no person I’ve come across who is as loyal as Carl Niehaus, he risked it all for President Zuma, this man knew exactly what would happen to him for his vocal support for President Zuma but he did it anyway. 😁

The Department of Correctional Services meanwhile has said that a criminal case has been opened after a camera SD card, containing images of the Former President, Jacob Zuma, being admitted at a correctional centre was stolen.
“It has come to the attention of the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) that images were stolen from a camera of the official who had been assigned to take photos for institutional filing purposes. The SD card was removed from the camera and the matter is highly sensitive and is being investigated by both SAPS and DCS. The official involved has also been contemplated with a suspension notice,” the department said in a statement.
“The first aspect of the internal investigation thus far has revealed that this SD card may have clandestinely been shared with a known broadcaster. The department will be approaching the relevant institutions for further action. We are appalled by the distribution of these images on social media and we urge people to refrain from sharing them,” the department further stated.
The DCS concluded by saying it condems in strongest possible terms such action and will leave no stone unturned in bringing to book those behind it.
