COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 135 more patients, bringing the death toll in South Africa from 4669 to 4 804 .
This was announced by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize on Friday July 17.
Mkhize also said that 13,373 more people were infected in the last 24-hour cycle, bringing the total number of national infections to 337 594.
He also said the recovery number has increased from 165,591 to 178 183.
