7de Laan actor David Rees is not out of the woods yet.
His family said in a statement this week that he remains critical and was being treated by a pulmonologist for a lung infection.
“David is still in CCU, not doing as well as we hoped. The family is very concerned about his situation and appreciate all your kind messages, prayers and support. Thank you for the continued support.”
The post further made a plea for more donations to cover his medical bills.
“As many of you know, our beloved soapie star, David Rees, renowned for his role as Chris Welman in #7deLaan, has had a devastating heart attack. This unexpected turn has brought pressing challenges his way, both medically and financially.
“David, sadly, lacks medical aid. This fact intensifies an already daunting journey. No donation is too big or too small, each gesture of kindness means the world.”
