Themba Sekowe, professionally known as DJ Maphorisa, has come forward to apologise publicly to L-Tido ‘s mother. This comes a week after Maphorisa took to social media to throw slurs at L-Tido after he hosted Sir Trill on his podcast.
Maphorisa who is also known as Madumane issued the apology after L-Tido set the record straight on his latest episode of his podcast.
“Today we are going to have a character analysis on DJ Maphorisa, let’s call him by his government name Sonny Boy. You had a case last year because you are a coward you only offend women; you would rather swear at my mother than me,” said L-Tido.
L-Tido, whose real name is Thato Madonsela, further said that there are so many guys that go to Maphorisa’s house and he takes credit for their work.
Extending an olive branch
“I will take that L, sorry for involving your moms bro. Mama Thato ke kope tshwarelo (I am asking for forgiveness). I did not mean to disrespect you,” wrote Maphorisa.
However, L-Tido did not stop there. He further addressed podcaster Magyver MacG Mukwevho. He said after the Sir Trill episode MacG commented on the episode and said that his podcast is like YO TV where they never want to offend people.
“I saw you a couple of months ago and you said L-Tido your podcast is so dope, keep going. When you show me the love, I am thinking you and I are good, but I watch your podacst and you mention my name a few times, but it is never in a good light.
“Let me know MacG where we stand. Do not show me love behind closed doors and the on your platform you are dissing me. If it is beef let it be beef. If we are not going to respect each other let it be. Do not be fake with me. If Sol leaves it is over for you, curtains.”
