Award-winning radio host, DJ Sabby, is thrilled to carry on presenting Metro FM’s Best Mornings breakfast show.
Born Sabelo Mtshali, DJ Sabby said he believed that his radio show team had a great run in the first year of the early-morning radio programme.
He took over the driver’s seat a year ago from Moeti “Mo Flava” Tsiki, who joined 947.
Co-hosting the show with Kandice “Kandice Kardash” Coulsen, he believes that they have tried and succeeded in connecting with the listeners, and that their offering was well-received.
“I am truly honoured to serve the country for yet another year,” said the award-winning radio presenter.
“We have a great plan to elevate the current experience of the show and have the country look forward to a new day with their daily dose of #BestMornings,” said DJ Sabby.
He has also grown his television profile by hosting flagship shows such as Clash of the Choirs on Mzansi Magic, and putting his acting talent on display on uBettina Wethu, an SABC1 drama series.
Notable achievements
His other notable achievements include hosting the Metro FM nomination party, the South African Music Awards, and the Back to the City festival on SABC1.
In 2022, DJ Sabby tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend and co-worker, Lindi Serame-Mtshali.
The lovebirds announced their engagement in 2021, after they had been dating for nearly 10 years.
They already had a son together when the two got married.
Lindi revealed on Monday that they are expecting their second child, which will mean that their children will be seven years apart in age.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward. Mother of two loading,” she wrote.
