Faith Nketsi free to love again after divorce nod

Sultry reality TV icon Faith Nketsi is now officially back on the dating market. Sunday World can exclusively reveal that Nketsi successfully obtained a decree of divorce at the Joburg high court last week and can now walk down the aisle again without fear of committing bigamy.

The court has also declared Nketsi’s divorce settlement proposal, which she drafted on October 12 last year, a permanent court order.

News that Nketsi is now a free agent was revealed by the purring sex kitten’s relative, who did not want to be named for fear of victimisation.

“She can now get married again without committing bigamy; she is officially single and ready to love again,” said the next of kin.

Nketsi dumped Njilo last year after claiming that he defrauded her just after they tied the knot in a wedding of cosmic proportions in Katlehong township, east of Johannesburg,  on April 9 2022.

A relative said Nketsi told them that Njilo sold her vehicle, whose make and model she did not disclose, and failed to account for what he did with the money.

She said that after selling the vehicle, Njilo defrauded her of the proceeds of the car.

The relative also said Nketsi, who is frugal, felt betrayed by Njilo’s alleged extravagance and kicked him to the curb last year.

After discarding him, the popular influencer took their daughter Sky, alleged the relative, and went to live in her bonded house in Edenburg, Sandton, while Njilo went to live in Blue Valley Estate, Midrand, where he rents an apartment.

Nketsi, further said the relative, told them that as a result of the alleged fraud, their union broke down irretrievably and there were no prospects of rescuing it, hence she sought divorce.

Nketsi also obtained custody of their daughter, said the relative.

But they agreed that Njilo would see their daughter on Sundays.

He would also, according to the relative, be allowed to spend time with her on his birthday and Father’s Day, while the model would be in the company of the child on her birthday and Mother’s Day.

Nketsi, who claims to draw at least R50 000 a month, said she had also agreed with Njilo that they should both contribute towards the upkeep of their daughter.

She claimed that from the gross monthly income she made, she spent R22 000 on her bond, R3 000 on groceries, and R3 500 on water, electricity, rates, and taxes.

She further alleged that Njilo’s monthly gross income was R200 000.

He spent R45 000 on rent R3 000 on electricity, R2 000 on groceries, and R25 000 on petrol.

Nketsi and Njilo’s marriage started showing faltering signs when he was arrested in April last year by KwaZulu-Natal police for fraud.

This was after Njilo, together with his co-accused Kwanda Ntshangase, allegedly duped a Joburg man into paying them a substantial amount of money under the pretext that they were truck sales representatives.

After receiving the payment from the unsuspecting victim, the two disappeared into thin air without delivering the truck to the victim.

Njilo and Ntshangase were released on R30 000 and R3 000 bail respectively.

Njilo and Nketsi could not be reached for comment.
