Actress and YouTuber Nadia Jaftha walked away with three gongs at the Dstv Content Creator Awards held in Sandton at the weekend.
The Cape Town-born actress took home the Content of the Year Award, Comedy Award and Thumb-Stopping Award.
While receiving her awards, Jaftha called her emotional mother to join her on stage. She affirmed that her daughter is phenomenal.
“I was not expecting this but I want to thank my manager, we started everything together. I just want to encourage all my brown-skinned girls out there that anything is possible, you can sit at home, you can record yourself, you can make money and you can win an award,” said Jaftha.
“Thank you to everybody who voted for me.”
Mpoomy Ledwaba and Brenden Praise won the Podcast of the Year Award for their Our Love Journey With Mpoomy & Brenden podcast, while Muzi Sambo won the Automotive Award for his car reviews on YouTube channel.
