Media personality Lasizwe Dambuza has made his debut on the Forbes Africa30 under 30 class of 2022, joining other well-known individuals on the publication’s 8th annual list.
The comedian, who joins the likes of Musa Keys and Phupho Gumede, expressed his gratitude and reflected on his humble beginnings. Lasizwe used to make videos using a phone in the streets of Pimville, Soweto.
Lasizwe dedicated his award to his parents and wished they were still alive to share in his joy. “Thank you @forbesafrica, thank you to the Sweeeries, my supporters! And thank you to every single one of you who has shown me consistent love,” he wrote.
