American model Lori Harvey and British actor Damson Idris have confirmed break-up rumours which have been circulating for some time now. Lori and Damson both confirmed on Tuesday that they had called it quits after less than a year of dating.
The couple issued a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
“We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends, with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together,” they said in a statement.
The couple sparked romance rumours last year when they were spotted on multiple outings following Harvey’s split from Michael B. Jordan.
A month later, Lori took to social media to make her new relationship Instagram official. She uploaded a selection of photos that included a snap of her posing for the camera while sitting on the British actor’s lap.
Before dating Damson, Lori dated actor Michael B Jordan but their relationship ended in June 2022 after more than a year together.
Lori mentioned in a July 2021 interview with Bustle magazine that she and Jordan first met through mutual friends.
“We met actually a few years ago, we had some mutual friends. I think we met out, just in passing,” she said.
During the course of their relationship, Jordan and Lori shared a handful of sweet moments together, including their romantic vacations and steamy PDA pictures.
Jordan this year revealed that he is back on the dating scene after his public break-up in 2022.
“Right after [directing and filming Creed III], I went through my very first public break-up. Most people after a break-up, are like, ‘I’m going to get in better shape’. But I was already in Creed shape,” he said.
