Nonku Williams’ explosive ‘Untied’ tell-all: tears, trauma, and triumph

Nonku Williams, the Real Housewives of Durban diva known for her fierce fashion and zero-chill attitude, just dropped a bombshell on Showmax’s steamy new talkshow Untied.

In a heart-to-heart with host Relebogile Mabotja, Nonku ripped off the glam mask to reveal a gut-wrenching tale of abuse, divorce, and finding her spark through faith.

She opened up about why she exposed her innermost thoughts, the experience of being so honest, and the powerful message she is conveying to her fans.

“I believe everything happens for a reason. God’s got a plan, and this was my moment to share my story. I want to reach a woman out there who’s hurting and show her there’s hope,” she said.

Forget the RHOD shade-throwing and wig-snatching — this is Nonku unfiltered, serving raw truth with a side of inspiration.

Heartbreak and divorce

Unlike the drama-fuelled Housewives, where Nonku’s feuds and fabulousness stole the show, Untied gave her a stage to bare her heart.

“Reality TV didn’t show the real me,” she confesses. “My purpose is bigger than catfights. I’m here to uplift and give hope to those who’ve been through the same pain I have. Untied provided me with an opportunity to express my emotions freely.”

Opening up about the abuse she endured and the heartbreak of her divorce was not easy.

“It was tough, no cap. But I have learnt our stories are meant to help others. God gave me the strength to speak, even when it hurt.”

Revisiting those dark days was a wild ride, but it also set her free.

“The triggers are still there, but talking about it? That’s healing. I want my story to be a lifeline for others.”

Her divorce flipped her world upside down but became a launchpad for self-discovery.

“It showed me my worth isn’t tied to being a wife or what people think. I found myself in God, and that’s given me freedom. I know I’m enough because of who He is.”

Putting her faith in God

Going full-on vulnerable on a public platform? That’s next-level guts, especially for a star who has dodged X’s shade for years.

“It’s not cute exposing your trauma. But I’m done stressing about haters. Their opinions are their drama, not mine. Sharing my truth? That’s power.”

Her faith was her anchor. “The Holy Spirit guided me,” she shares. “God called me to do this, and I had to ditch pride and fear to serve a bigger purpose.”

Nonku’s got one big hope: to light a fire for those in pain. “I want people to know that no matter how dark it gets, it is not the end,” she says passionately.

“It’s a season, and with faith, you can slay it, just like me. My story’s for anyone in their darkest hour.”

After quitting RHOD in June 2025, slamming its “toxic vibes” to focus on her mental health and faith, Nonku’s on a new wave.
