Brian McKnight, aged 53, is excited to add a new member to his family with wife Leilani after the couple experienced a pregnancy loss earlier this year.
McKnight shared the special news on social media this week.
This will be the married couple’s first child together. On their miscarriage, Brian said the baby was to be named Kekoa Matteo, and said he would have been born on Mother’s Day.

The Back At One hitmaker posted an Instagram grid collage followed by a series of pictures showing him kissing his wife’s bump, as well as three photos of the couple dressed in all-white, with McKnight’s hand on his wife’s bump at the beach.

“We are ecstatic to finally announce baby McKnight is coming soon! To my beautiful wife, you are my everything, my hero [and] my reason for living, I am so in love with you baby,” he wrote.
The Instagram post was supported by praises to his wife and expressions of his love and adoration.
Sharing the news on her own page, Leilani wrote: “To my rock, the perfect husband and father … our baby is the most blessed child, because you are his father. I’m forever in love with you Boopy.”
