South African style icon and influencer Sarah Langa has once again proven that beauty and intellect are a powerful combination.
On Tuesday, Langa graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Wits Business School, which is part of the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management at the University of the Witwatersrand.
The MBA marks her third degree from the institution, cementing her status as a multifaceted trailblazer.
Langa’s journey to this academic milestone has been nothing short of inspiring. A celebrated figure in fashion, lifestyle, and entrepreneurship, she has captivated audiences with her elegance and authenticity for over a decade. Yet, her commitment to education has always been at the core of her success.
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and marketing (2015) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) already under her belt, the MBA represents the pinnacle of her academic achievements at Wits.
In a heartfelt video shared by Wits University, she shared her joy: “I’m a three-time Wits graduate and social media personality. Today is a very special day for me being a Witsie for life, 14 years being on this campus. Today is the day I finally get my qualification. It’s been so exciting.”
She also shared on her Instagram story, “Graduated at Africa’s most prestigious and globally recognised institution, the same institution where [former president] Nelson Mandela studied. This is something I dreamed of doing as a young girl. It was the ultimate stamp of excellence, resilience, and critical thinking. And I did it three times.”
For her graduation, Langa chose a custom cream-white outfit designed by celebrated South African designer Rich Mnisi, embodying her signature blend of sophistication and cultural pride.
The ensemble, which she showcased on Instagram, was a nod to her deep connection to South African fashion and her ability to make a statement without saying a word.
Langa’s academics complement her thriving career as an entrepreneur and influencer. As the founder of Luvant, a luxury resale platform, and Sarah Langa Interiors, an interior design venture, she has turned her creative vision into tangible businesses.
Her blog, influence, and curated social media presence have secured partnerships with global brands like Woolworths, Samsung, and H&M, while her recent international runway debut for Rich Mnisi in China marked a new chapter in her fashion journey.
What makes Langa’s story so compelling is her ability to balance beauty, intellect, and purpose. “I’ve always believed in the power of education,” she shared in a recent interview. “Knowledge is never wasted.”
Her dedication to lifelong learning, paired with her flair for style, has made her a role model for aspiring influencers and professionals alike. From her roots in Soweto to gracing global stages, Langa’s journey inspires a generation to pursue their dreams with both passion and discipline.
Fresh from her MBA graduation, Langa didn’t miss a beat, turning heads at the Hollywoodbets Durban July 2025 in a stunning Balmain ensemble.
