Tearaway hip hop artist Shebeshxt is composing another criminal record for himself after he allegedly shot a motorist in a road rage incident in Limpopo on Tuesday night.
The motorist is said to have been shot in the solar plexus and is fighting for his life in one of Polokwane’s infirmaries.
According to information received, Shebeshxt and an unknown motorist were driving on one of the bustling streets in Polokwane when an argument erupted over bad driving. The millionaire yob and the pugnacious motorists started hurling insults at each other.
It is alleged that Shebeshxt, who is popular for rapping in cadence, drove into a filling station and parked his car.
The motorist followed him to the garage, parked his car too and climbed out.
The strapped-up musician, whose ditty Ambulance is dominating the dance floor, also disembarked from his vehicle, slid up to the motorist and allegedly shot him. The motorist fell to the ground, and the lekompo proponent got into his vehicle, cranked it up and drove off.
“The motorist was rushed to a local hospital, where he is fighting for his life. He is apparently in the intensive care unit,” said the deep throat, who did not want to be named for fear of victimisation.

We confirm that Police in Westernburg outside Polokwane are investigating an attempted murder incident that happened on 19 October 2025 in Polokwane.
Limpopo police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba said the Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has directed the murder and robbery unit to take over the investigation.
“The police have a person of interest, and when done with investigations they will take necessary actions.
The investigations by murder and robbery unit have been intensified, the team is tightening loose ends and an arrest is imminent at this stage,” he said.
Police are asking for more space to conduct their investigation, he said.
