Siphesihle “CeeCee” Ndaba has penned a heartfelt farewell message to her character Mazet on Mzansi Magic’s Gomora.
Ndaba’s character Mazet was brutally killed off by Thathi (Katlego Danke) on Friday at the end of season three.
Taking to social media, Ndaba, who made a big break three years ago after bagging the role, thanked Mzansi Magic and the Gomora family for giving her a chance to shine.
“Thank you Gomora family. Thank you for opening your hearts to this very complex character. I’m forever humbled by the love. The end of one era is the birth of another. See you on the next.” she wrote.
Gomora season four premiers on Monday with the final episode on October 20 2023.
For its fourth and final season, fans of the telenovela can expect intense action and an emotional rollercoaster leading up to the finale.
The young people of Gomora spiral out of control from self-inflicted pain and generational pain.
Sonto’s (played by Connie Chiume) world is rocked and she grapples with her emotions post the killing of Mazet, whom she regarded as one of her daughters.
The absence of Mazet and Thathi turns the Molefe household (headed by Sonto) upside down, and Sonto moves from one desperate act to even more dangerous decisions.
