American gospel sensation and songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard has announced that her Durban show has been cancelled.
The songstress shared the news on her Instagram on Thursday, stating that the cancellation is due to the promoters not upholding their side of the promise.
In a video, Cobbs Leonard revealed that she is currently in South Africa for her Revival Tour with Tasha Cobbs.
“I am so disappointed and so sad about our Durban show which has been cancelled by the promoter,” she said.
“Due to the promoter not upholding his end and promise that he made, things such as booking hotels and flights for my team to make sure that we get to you, were just not done.
“I do not know what was said to you guys, so I told my publicist that I will speak from my heart and share the truth.”
The gospel show was scheduled to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban at the weekend.
The Fill Me Up singer said she is in Pretoria where she will be performing on Thursday evening before heading to Cape Town on Friday.
The songstress released the extended play Grace in 2013 with the hit lead single Break Every Chain. The EP reached number 61 on the Billboard charts.
“I was looking forward to worshipping with you, but this is beyond what we are in control of,” said the gospel sensation.
TRT media production and Afribiz Media said they will refund all the people who have already purchased tickets.
“We are committed to ensuring that all ticket holders receive a prompt refund and this depends on the payment method used for your ticket purchase,”
