Wedding bells continue to ring for Mzansi celebrities after Congolese-South African rapper and TV presenter Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, professionally known as Rouge, announced that she is officially off the dating market.
This after the Dololo hitmaker posted on her Instagram that she is engaged to be married to her partner of many years.
In a social media post on Sunday, the South African Music Awards nominee expressed joy now that she will be tying the knot to her best friend, saying God’s timing is perfect.
“I am engaged! God’s timing is perfect timing. I will be doing forever with my best friend,” she wrote.
Rouge’s engagement follows an announcement by one of Mzansi’s finest musicians, Bulelwa “Zahara” Mkutukana, that she will be walking down the isle later in the year.
The Loliwe hitmaker is expected to be exchanging her vows in November 2023 after she got engaged to her boyfriend and engineer Mpho Xaba in March.
