Yonela Lindinxiwa, 27, from Mfuleni, Cape Town, is an energetic businessman. He owns a thriving fast food outlet, Zamarora, as well as XLNT Music Galaxy Inc, a production company, mentoring videographers and artists. Lindinxiwa joined forces with Sivuyise Makhanda, Melikhaya Silwana and Nangamso Majola in February 2021, to grow the the fast food business. They now have two outlets with six full-time employees. “I am inspired and would like to see disadvantaged communities succeeding in solving problems,” says Lindinxiwa. He is concerned about the high unemployment rate. Business growth could in a small way help to solve the problem. In addition to creating employment, he is keen to help rehabilitate the youth through art and music. He has sponsored a local soccer team, buying them soccer kit and boots. He provides the team with transportation, especially for away games. He is part of Men-Care, an organisation raising awareness about gender-based violence in the Western Cape. In 2015 the organisation received a recognition certificate as a gender equality partner.
