Founder – Warm Nest Enterprise
Justice Lebotsa is a young agritech innovator who brings innovation towards the implementation of digitalisation in farming. He is also a qualified tactical road operations and traffic manager. Lebotsa is the founder of Warm Nest Enterprise, which is identified as an agricommerce that provides a simplified approach to trading, where a seller and buyer are directly linked. He aims to bring out innovative solutions in farming to help small-scale farmers avoid post-harvest losses. “We upskill small-scale farmers, and we also network them to meet up with various opportunities through the use of digitalisation,” says Lebotsa. “Our name is inspired by Vutivi Business News to tackle the tragedy of post-harvest loss experienced by our small-scale farmers,” he adds. Lebotsa was part of the Top 16 Youth Owned Brand Awards in 2023, competing against the likes of the Legend Barber. He’s also a 2023 Allan Gray inter-college entrepreneurship pitch competition finalist in his region. Lebotsa says the 30 years of South Africa’s democracy have helped the sector by decreasing the costs of production, leading to business growth, as well as contributing to development in the agriculture sector, education sector and industrial/manufacturing sector. “Everything seems to be easier made, compared to the past.”
