Muzi Moholo is a casting agent and music as well as video production teacher who has dedicated his career to empowering young people and providing them with the necessary skills to succeed in the entertainment industry. Just a few months after opening his casting agency, Moholo made it to Showmax’s critically acclaimed production, Adulting Season 2. This affirmed his childhood dream of being in the media and production space. Another wish for Moholo has been to win an award as validation for his work, which makes the 2024 Unsung Heroes recognition a dream come true for him. Mohale has witnessed first-hand the transformation of his students, from being inexperienced beginners to confident artists. He strongly believes that every individual regardless of their academic background deserves an opportunity to pursue their dreams and create a successful career. Moholo has been able to provide aspiring actors and musicians with the platform to showcase their talents and land roles in various productions. “As South Africa marks 30 years of freedom, my reflection about the state of our sport, arts and culture development in our country is that our sports, arts and culture are growing tremendously with our different types of national sports teams representing us well, we are looking good.”
