Just like his name suggests, Faith Madoda has had a lot of faith in life. The 28-year-old has persevered through challenging business setbacks to be on the cusp of opening his own truck stop affiliated with Puma Energy soon. The fuelling station will also feature an impressive lubricant-manufacturing warehouse so that he can supply the mining industry. The entrepreneur may be young, but he has a deep understanding and lived experience of the challenges and potential of the energy sector, like the problems which the current fuel hikes are having on businesses. “Customers are either not buying fuel or reducing their orders considerably. The trucks are also reducing their speed so they need less fuel. The situation is bad and affecting us all.” Faith anticipates that his fuelling station venture will produce over 50 jobs, and construction is expected to begin later this year.
