Technology innovation means nothing without people being at the centre of your work. This is the philosophy of Kananelo Tshabalala, who is a partnerships lead at a Rosebank-based technology company helping businesses adopt digital improvements. At only 26, the Gauteng-based young woman is at the intersection of digital transformation and translates complex tech lingo to clients, helping them expand their businesses effortlessly. One way in which she does that is by demystifying artificial intelligence (AI). “AI can level the playing field by providing access to tools that were previously only available to large organisations,” she says. And it’s not only older entrepreneurs who need the tech help to level up. “Youth development is at the core of what we do. We believe that equipping young people with future-ready skills enables them to participate more effectively in the modern economy. “The impact has been significant, with many young people gaining confidence, improving their employability, launching businesses, and accessing opportunities that may otherwise have been out of reach. Through mentorship and practical experience, we have seen participants develop both technical and professional skills that contribute to long-term personal and economic growth.”
