More info:

When his father told him that “Farming is the Future”, Thabiso Maphoto took his wise words to heart. Today, the accounting graduate is using everyday tech platforms to make farming an accessible and profitable experience for others like him. Through his company, Agricshare Africa, he helps small-scale farmers connect to livestock auctions, funding opportunities, and agricultural resources, bridging gaps that have long excluded rural producers from the formal economy. In just two years, he has also helped secure bursaries for aspiring agricultural students through his growing network. At just 23 years old, Thabiso is quietly revolutionising South African agriculture and inspiring a new generation of black farmers. His company, Agricshare Africa, combines grassroots farming with his BCom accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg. He manages a 2ha farm with 30 cattle, the first in his community to reach that milestone.
