Wandile Dlodlo is a passionate and ambitious young professional, aged 23, who is making significant strides both in his career and in his community. Currently working as a driver at Delivery Ka Speed, a logistics and delivery solutions provider, Wandile’s journey shows adaptability and a deep commitment to personal growth and youth empowerment. Wandile matriculated in 2021 and graduated from AFDA Johannesburg in 2023, specialising in innovation and technology. After completing his studies, he made a conscious decision to enter the workforce, seeking employment and financial independence. His proactive approach led him to register on SAYouth.mobi, where he discovered an opportunity with Delivery Ka Speed. Embracing the chance, he applied, underwent a trial training, and quickly secured a position as an in-house driver. Within just two months, Wandile distinguished himself as the top-ranked driver in his region, achieving the highest number of successful deliveries. Beyond his primary role, Wandile is also an entrepreneur. He runs a side logistics business, providing school transportation services in his local area. His business has grown significantly, and he now has three vehicles in his fleet. Wandile’s experiences during lockdown highlighted the importance of innovation, self-reliance, and community support. He co-founded the Men’s Legacy Foundation, an NPO dedicated to uplifting and empowering young men in society. He is passionate about helping young people identify their strengths and guiding them through the process of applying for jobs and building meaningful careers.
