More info:

Fashion designer Jessica Jane Molebatsi’s star is rising. Molebatsi has been invited to showcase her “authentic” feminine couture at the famous Paris Fashion Week in France for the February/March 2022 season. Molebatsi, 35, born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, founded the JessicaJane label in 2010. Some of the top celebrities she has dressed include Terry Pheto, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Boity Thulo and Amanda Du Point. She also famously made a special gown for the late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela for her 80th birthday celebration. Molebatsi studied fashion design for two years at the Durban University of Technology. In 2009, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in fashion design at the London International School of Fashion, now called the Stadio Higher Education School of Fashion, in Johannesburg, where she lives. Last year, the mother of two conceptualized a new high-end fashion label, Mother of Haute, to fit her customers' unique figures. “For businesswomen, while it’s important to learn from the journey your peers have taken, it is equally important to have your own set of dreams, goals and timelines for achieving them,” says Molebatsi.
