More info:

Rapelang Rabana is a renowned serial tech entrepreneur who is addicted to the thrill of witnessing ideas she has conceptualized come to fruition. The internationally lauded technology entrepreneur came straight out of University of Cape Town with BBusSci (Hons Comp. Sci) and M.Sc degrees to co-found and become CEO of her first start-up, YEIGO Communications, an innovative communications software development company. YEIGO’s products permit customers to make free phone calls, send e-mails and communicate via short text messages with other users through the internet. The company has since turned into one of South Africa’s largest information technology companies. Looking back, Rabana says: “It always makes me smile that all we had at the beginning of our first company was just a thought. How incredibly powerful human thought, imagination and discipline can be when backed by persistence.”  Persistent she is. In the past 15 years she has built groundbreaking innovative technologies intended to solve the world’s challenges. Rabana is now the founder of Rekindle Learning, which places acquisition of knowledge in the palm of the hands of learners, high school graduates and new business owners. She is also a founding partner at FFWD Innovation, which helps companies innovate.
