Hailing from Mpumalanga and armed with a Fine Arts degree from Wits University, Lindelwa Masuku seamlessly fuses artistic finesse with digital expertise.

“From a young age I was drawn to the world of art,” she recounts.

As social media and content manager at The Joburg Post, Masuku’s influence extends beyond her role.

She co-owns the Queendom Collection, an African fashion brand empowering women, as well as ColorMedia, a creative design and branding venture. The Queendom Collection, an ode to African resilience, has since blossomed into a symbol of empowerment.

Masuku’s commitment to spotlighting marginalised voices is evident as she writes across categories like fashion, art and lifestyle. Noteworthy collaborations with Palesa Mokubung of Mantsho in the Fearless campaign, alongside Zozibini Tunzi and First for Women, elevated her reputation to that of a creative maverick.

“As a young creative and social media strategist, I’ve always been driven by a sense of purpose. I believe in giving a voice to those who are often overlooked, particularly young talent and creatives, especially black women,” she states.

Masuku applauds industry shifts that are in favour of inclusion, citing mentorship and diversity initiatives that nurture female leadership.

“Every step I take in this industry is a stride towards greater gender equality and representation. I hope to inspire other women to embrace their creativity, find their unique voice, and take their rightful places in the tech world,” she says.
