Located in the Sekhukhune District Municipality, QueenAgri, a subsidiary of Sekgale Trading Enterprise, stands as a beacon of hope in Mphanama village. Led by Mmankopodi Sekgale, a dynamic self-funded farmer and entrepreneur, QueenAgri is reshaping the face of rural empowerment.  

QueenAgri operates on a 20-hectare farm, using mixed farming to supply top-quality livestock and cash crops to retail giants like Spar and Choppies in Limpopo.  

With a diploma in animal production and a BTech in agriculture development from Tshwane University of Technology, Sekgale advocates for job creation and skills development in rural communities by developing women and youth.  

Sekgale’s impact transcends QueenAgri’s boundaries. As an accredited AgriSETA facilitator and assessor, she uplifts her community by offering agriculture training and consultancy to aspiring farmers.  

QueenAgri has won first place at Nestlé’s 2022 Agri-pitch competition for the eastern and southern Africa regions. This accolade highlights the far-reaching essence of Sekgale’s vision.
