Refilwe Xaba is the CEO and Founder of Glolooks, a high-quality cosmetic line that boasts a global footprint. Glolooks hair care products are available on the Glolooks website, partner salons as well as digital platforms. Glolooks is a resilient cosmetic brand for natural hair that caters for kiddies as well as mommies. Its products are made of plant-based, safe, indigenous and sustainable ingredients.
In addition to recently presenting at the International Business Conference and being chosen as an NRF PhD scholar, Xaba was also a runner-up in the National Engen Pitch and Polish competition. Furthermore, she was named among Junior Chamber International’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) in South Africa, and selected to compete against her African and Middle East counterparts as the Chamber’s Creative Young Entrepreneur Award winner.
Having left an indelible mark on various international platforms such as the Mandela Washington Fellowship leadership platform, Xaba has cemented herself as a trusted delegate for South Africa. She was invited by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition to represent the country at the 2023 BRICS Summit held in South Africa. Furthermore, the courageous entrepreneur also displayed her Glolooks natural hair products at the BRICS Business Forum.
