Therapist – Aurora Alcohol and Drug Centre
Lenkoe holds an honours degree in psychology from the University of the Free State as well as masters in clinical social work from the University of Johannesburg. As a therapist at the Aurora Alcohol and Drug Centre, she provides essential therapy and also manages Aurora’s Youth Centre, helping those under 18 with substance use disorders.
Through her personal venture, RL Wellness Services, Lenkoe fosters mental health awareness and offers a platform for women to connect and discuss their struggles.
Lenkoe’s virtual counselling sessions have reached international audiences, offering culturally relevant mental health guidance.
Her hard work in the profession hasn’t gone unnoticed.
She has also received awards such as the Southern Region Women in Media: Game Changer Award in Health and Wellness.
Lenkoe has written two much needed books that provide insights into healing, grief, loss and overcoming psychological adversity.
She has developed the introduction chapter to Mental Health manual, aimed at equipping professionals to address mental health conditions effectively.
