Gail Motloung is a highly accomplished social entrepreneur, youth leader, international speaker and community builder hailing from the Vaal Triangle in Gauteng. Many recognise her as a TV host and as a 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow.
Motloung is the founder of the Girl with a Purpose Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering, equipping, and inspiring young women.
Through this foundation, she has significantly amplified the voices of women and youth in policy and decision-making, enhancing their participation in leadership roles and influencing policy changes. She is a strong advocate for inclusion and gender balance, working to ensure that women and youth across Gauteng have equal access to social and economic opportunities.
In addition to her work with the foundation, Motloung serves as the managing director of House of Yadah Publications. Her leadership and influence were further recognised in 2023 when she was selected as a board member for the South African Heroine Awards.
