MamaRemoBraidingSalon is a lively and welcoming space, adorned with bright colours and cheerful decorations, creating a strong sense of community.

Nonhlanhla’s approach extends beyond just styling hair; she is a builder of confidence and a bringer of smiles.

“I understand that a child’s self-esteem can be deeply influenced by their appearance, and I take pride in restoring their confidence and joy through my work,” she explained.

“I have a unique ability to connect with children, creating an environment where they feel safe and valued. What could be a daunting experience is transformed into a delightful one. My interactions with children are filled with kindness and encouragement, making every visit to MamaRemoBraidingSalon a memorable and positive experience,” she added.

Nonhlanhla has established herself as the premier children’s hairstylist in the area, with her salon becoming one of the most successful in Potchefstroom. In addition to repairing damaged hair, she specialises in braiding, hair washing and treatments that cater to all hair types.

She has also worked at the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture at the local level as an administrator for artists. Previously, she was an actress in the all women cast of the Asinamali production, written by Mbongeni Ngema.
