A dynamic community activist and visionary founder of organisations that have come to shape and change the lives of the young and old in her community, and she has no intention to stop. With her heart firmly placed in service and a mission rooted in transformation, Alicia has dedicated her life to creating opportunities that serve as a stepping stone to a brighter future for the youth and women of Eldorado Park, and beyond. A tireless advocate for education, innovation, and empowerment, Alicia’s work spans across early childhood development, digital literacy, robotics education, and grassroots social impact. Her unwavering commitment has not only inspired change but also ignited hope in communities often overlooked. Alicia's impact has earned her widespread recognition. She was named one of the 2022 Women of Purpose and a 2022 Influential Woman of the Year. In 2024, she was honored as a Living Legend in Eldorado Park for her monumental contributions to education and youth development across the community. That same year, she went on to receive top honors at the Supreme Industry Awards, winning both the Women Empowerment Award and NPO of the Year Award. This year, she was recognised as a Gauteng Champion for SpringBots SA, after she spearheaded the one-hundred-team programme, with forty schools around the province. Alicia’s legacy is one of courage, compassion, and commitment— a true South African hero paving the way for future generations through purpose-driven action.
