More info:

Elyzah Mahloana’s deep passion for healing led her to start a company called ElyBlends, now Ukòra, which focuses on natural medicine, sustainable living, and integrating technology with agriculture to provide accessible wellness solutions.  Her business was inspired by her desire to search for a treatment for her grandparents’ chronic diseases; she began growing herbal medicine in her backyard. Following her abusive relationship, which led her to severe depression and anxiety, she embarked on a spiritual journey and discovered the transformative power of nature to heal the mind, body, and soul.  Jami Femme, African Female Entrepreneurs, and the AWELESA programs have recognised her. These programs have inspired her to advocate for wellness, equality, and empowerment internationally.  She is currently studying herbalism at the Herbal Academy, with the intention of aligning agriculture, wellness, and herbalism into a holistic, sustainable business model.  Her medicinal herb farm is situated in Limpopo, which is a hub for plant-based wellness solutions. She has shown the world that every person has the power to heal themselves through harnessing the power of nature.
