We all know that there are no permanent friends or enemies in politics but seeing ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula cosying up to EFF president Julius Malema was not on my Bingo cards for 2025.
These two have been at each other’s throats since Mbaks was elected as the SG in 2022 and we have seen tempers flare in public.
But yes, they have rekindled their friendship and posted a picture for all to see on social media. In the snap, you see the men hugging, wearing big smiles. Shwa is happy for the bromance and hopes it will last this time around. We love a good Friendship of National Unity, you know.
