Minister Dean Macpherson, bless his bewildered soul, stumbled head first into the truth about this Expropriation Act hullabaloo!
While the usual suspects are hyperventilating into their hankies, screaming “communism!”, Macpherson actually piped up with sense! Of course, even a stopped clock manages that much twice a day!
But Mcphearson pointed out the absolute screamingly obvious fact that expropriation isn’t some uniquely South African voodoo invented to terrify farmers. It’s standard government stuff worldwide – grabbing land for roads, dams! Who knew?!
He must be given his flowers for this rare moment of lucidity!
