No Turkish delight last time, so Chiefs and coach Nabi opt to go Dutch
Kaizer Chiefs have announced where their pre-season will be this year, and boy oh boy, we just hope that they will not repeat what they did in Turkey last year.
The Glamour Boys were just an embarrassment last year, after they went hiking in the mountains in Turkey and got people’s hopes up high. All for what? To finish ninth on the log?
Without saying much, Shwa just hopes that coach Nasreddine Nabi and his side will not be there for content but will actually come back and show us why they went as far as Europe for pre-season.
Because if they don’t, they might as well have stayed in Mzansi and played against the local teams. Chiefs better come back playing Dutch “Total Football” and take a leaf out of Johan Cruyff’s book.
