Mamelodi Sundowns are known to travel in style, sometimes in a private jet, like a few weeks ago when seven of their players flew from Algeria to Tanzania in a snazzy private metal bird.
But this past week, there was no style and glamour when the bus Sundowns gave to Tanzania’s Yanga SC broke down just 5km from the OR Tambo International Airport after they landed for the second round match against the Brazilians.
Yanga officials, with the help of their Tanzanian embassy, came to their rescue and organised alternative transport for the team. Could it have been a Putco bus from Mthambeka Section in Tembisa, Shwa is keen to know?
