After receiving a tongue-lashing from Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng for his decision to skip a day of the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial to travel back from running the Comrades Marathon, Adv Charles Mnisi proved that it was not a futile exercise as he crossed the finish line last Sunday.
The marathon tracker showed that Mnisi started his race at 5:45am and concluded at 4:27pm, almost 11 hours later. In the words of Mokgoatlheng, this is South Africa run by blacks, with Mnisi at the forefront.
