These ‘whistle-blowers’ are embarrassing Mzansi
It was no surprise that none of the current Premier Soccer League (PSL) referees won at the 2023 Cosafa Awards.
Last week, Shwa gatecrashed the inaugural Cosafa Awards at the Sandton Convention Centre, and I must admit, I was impressed with how the entire event unfolded.
But one thing Shwa was not impressed with, though predictable, was the fact that none of the PSL referees could win a single award.
How embarrassing!
Even the current so-called best referee in the country Abongile “Tom and Jerry” was miles away from winning the Best Male Referee Award.
Shwa only feels sorry for fellow sister Akhona Makalima for not winning anything, especially not after going all out with her outfit only to be beaten by someone who was not even at the event.
But it just serves them right because maybe they will pull up their socks and start making better decisions next season because wow! They have been dreadful.
