Trevor Noah’s show this past weekend was off the chain. Look, Shwa was always of the opinion that the dude wasn’t really funny, even though he was uber successful.
But he proved Shwa wrong on Saturday at the Sunbet Arena in Pretoria. Shwa laughed from the moment he set foot on stage, until he was done with his set. It’s like he came home so much better at his craft of comedy. And what Shwa loved most was his humility and humble nature – and that he still thinks SA is the best place since sliced bread – despite our problems.
We spotted Anele Mdoda in rather short shorts. But Shwa was too caught up in the aura of Trevor to worry with the attention-seeking Mdoda. Big ups Trevor – continue to soar!
