Welcome to the slow Uber lane, NdosiĀ

Remember recently the permanently hat-wearing former police minister Bheki Cele all over national TV news, claiming he is not safe?Ā

Well, Shwa has caught him in his lies because it is apparent that he misses the comfortable life of blue lights, being driven around and escaping traffic by switching on the flashing lights and bullying other motorists to make way.Ā

Sneaky Shwa recently spotted Ndosi somewhere climbing into a Toyota Corolla Uber after a very long wait for a ride.Ā

The awkwardness spoke volumes that the man is refusing to accept that he has ceased being an ANC fat cat living off the state.Ā

Now he must be an ordinary man who must be inconvenienced and wait in line like others for services such as Uber, especially when he is in Joburg.Ā

It is clear that the so-called safety concern by this madala were nothing but a ruse to use as a back door back to a life of comfort being driven around in speeding German machines.Ā

Phela it cannot be easy to go from a BMW X3 that you did not pay a cent for to a Toyota Corolla Uber X that you have to pay from your pocket. And while at it, you must wait for the Uber to first drop another haile before fetching you.Ā

But what the likes of Ndosi probably resent the most about this Uber life is how slow it is because Uber drivers stick to the speed limit.Ā

And most of them these days have cars so old that air-conditioning has long stopped functioning.Ā Ā

The cars are usually dirty and you can’t help noticing the smelly shoes in there. Bekezela Ndosi, ayikho iyenzenjani khehla, sisonke emzabalazweni.Ā
