An internal probe by the State Information Technology Agency (Sita) has found that the appointment of its acting managing director, Simphiwe Dzengwa, was illegal.
The state-owned entity was also found to have violated its recruitment policies when it appointed acting chief procurement officer Malakia Mashiloane.
Matter of Fact:
In the newspaper edition of this article, a picture of Eskom Group CEO Dan Marokane, who is not the subject of this story, was erroneously used, and he was named Sita acting managing director Simphiwe Dzengwa, who is the subject of this story. We apologise to both Marokane and Dzengwa for any inconvenience this might have caused.
