Johannesburg – Celebrity chef, Lesego Semenya has died.
This after suffering from Covid-19 with a comorbidity, which he didn’t reveal.
Talent manager Miz Marcee broke the news on Twitter on Monday afternoon.
Just last week he was hopeful that he would beat the virus.
“Day 5. Still fighting this Covid demon whilst living with a comorbidity. I’m OK, loads of medication and keeping positive. Thank you to those who keep checking up on me. Dr reckons I’ve seen the worst of it now and it’s just about recovery and rest now,” he tweeted on July 9.

A few days before this, he said he had gone to doctor thinking that he had a throat infection.
But on July 6 his results came in positive.
“I double-mask. I don’t go anywhere. I keep faraway from other humans. Had cancelled all public and private appearances. Put most of my business on hold. But here it is. Please don’t take this virus lightly. Now to fight this thing,: he said in shock of testing positive for the virus, where the Delta variant is now spreading rapidly globally.
He was 39 years old, and was excited about owning the rights to his first book, titled Dijo.
Many have expressed their shock to his sudden death.
